Frenchman Lake

Frenchman Lake is located off Hwy 70, just outside Chilcoot. It is approximately 50 minutes outside of Reno, which makes it a perfect place for an evening trip, day trip or weekend camping adventure. There are 3 campgrounds along the shoreline with numerous trails to hike. Skiing and riding are allowed and very popular along with fishing. In the summer the water warms up nicely which also makes an early morning ride before work starts a very good option.
