Antelope Lake

Located 5,000 feet up in the Plumas National Forest, Antelope Lake is a personal favorite with its unique shoreline, abundance of camping, variety of fish and always plenty of water. The past couple years when many lakes were low, Antelope has been with in a foot or two of capacity well past Labor Day. Antelope Lake is located north of Reno on the way to Susanville or you can go through Quincy, CA to Taylorsville. Either way the drive is not too long but the road up is a little steep at parts with some sharp curves, just allow yourself a little extra time and enjoy the journey.

Directions: Take Arlington Road off Highway 89 (near Crescent Mills) to Taylorsville Road, continuing on Genesee Road and Indian Creek Road to Antelope Lake.
