Donner Lake
Donner Lake is located off Interstate 80, just past Truckee. Donner is like a miniature Tahoe with crystal blue water, beautiful shoreline of custom homes and great fishing. Donner does warm up a bit in the summer but is still a mountain lake. There is a directional skiing rule imposed on the weekends for safety. There house rental opportunities with boat slips, which makes Donner as the perfect summer vacation destination.
